According to Odaily, Mempool recently addressed concerns on X regarding some FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) surrounding their project. Mempool clarified that their open-source project does not support the integration of the 'ord' daemon. The platform, mempool.space, only displays data contained within the Bitcoin mempool, blockchain, and the Lightning Network.

Mempool emphasized that if users search for transactions involving Ordinals, inscriptions, or runes, this data will be visible on mempool.space, just as it exists on the Bitcoin blockchain. They reiterated their commitment to supporting only Bitcoin and not any other cryptocurrencies, often referred to as 'Shitcoins.' However, they noted that if such data is present in the mempool or blockchain, it will be displayed on mempool.space. This is because the primary function of a Bitcoin explorer is to show blockchain data.
