Funding Rates Alerts 🚨

What are funding rates, and how do they work?

Funding rates are periodic payments made between long and short traders on a futures contract. They are based on the difference between the perpetual contract price and the underlying asset's price.

The concept behind this is to keep the contract price in line with the spot market price.

- A positive Funding Rate indicates a bullish sentiment since long traders pay short traders.

- A negative Funding Rate indicates a bearish sentiment since short traders pay long traders.

I scanned through 500 tokens and searched for tokens where the funding rates a shifted lately. Very often, this is an early signal of a shifting trend.
