More than 1 billion won coin investors own half of the total investment, according to data from Yonhap Infomax. This means that a small number of investors own a large majority of the money invested in the coin market. This is in contrast to the stock market, where ownership is more evenly distributed. As a result, the coin market is more volatile and susceptible to manipulation by large investors. The data shows that there are about 3,400 domestic ultra-high-priced accounts that have invested more than 1 billion won in virtual assets. The investment amount per account is 945 million won. Out of 7.7 million virtual asset accounts opened on Upbit and Bithumb, only 1% of the accounts exceeded 100 million won. However, the investment size accounted for 70% of the total amount. High-value investors, who account for only 0.04% of all accounts, own nearly half of the total investment, or 47%. This indicates that the coin market is more polarized than the stock market.
