Firstly, what is TRON?
TRON is a blockchain for creating decentralised applications.
Its native token is $TRX, which developers can use in their applications.
TRON was founded by justinsuntron, one of the most prominent and influential figures in crypto.
Over the past few years, TRON has gained significant traction as a payments network, containing the largest global circulating supply of stablecoins ($60b). 
It's also the 2nd largest blockchain for TVL, ahead of Solana (this is an significant point which I will expand on later in this thread).
Now you understand what TRON is, let's take a look at the recent surge in metrics, which indicate the beginning of a TRON season.
1. TRON's mindshare is up only.
In fact, "perpendicular" is the correct expression.
It's even on the cusp of flipping Solana as the blockchain with the 3rd most mindshare in crypto.
This is important, as in crypto, liquidity flows where attention goes.
2. Fee generation is also up only.
TRON has generated $443m in fees over the past 90 days, only surpassed by Tether (the most of any crypto protocol).
3. On-chain volume is surging.
TRON has hit 100m+ in volume consecutively over the past 2 days, marking a 7x increase in volume since the start of the year.
It's clear that something major is happening on TRON right now.
But what is this growth being driven by?
Well, we are starting to see the beginning of a major meme season on TRON.
This is being fueled by the launch of sunpumpmeme, TRON's Solana equivalent of Pump Fun.
There are 2 additional reasons why I believe Tron is well positioned for future growth (and thus opportunities for its users).
1. Justin Sun is a chad (and has the firepower/influence to make sure it succeeds).
2. TRON is already a solidified chain, with a significant stablecoin pool.
This means:
A) There is more liquidity on chain to rotate into the ecosystem, and
B) People are already familiar with using the chain and its UI (this is one of the reasons Solana has succeeded).
