According to PANews, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) developer ENS Labs is collaborating with digital identity provider Dentity to integrate verifiable credentials on-chain. On Wednesday, the two companies announced that this new integration will allow ENS users to link their on-chain identities with real-world identities, giving them control over the extent of information they choose to share. This integration ensures that ENS users can maintain control over publicly accessible personal identity information while ensuring such information is not stored on-chain.

ENS Labs Executive Director Khori Whittaker highlighted that the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between off-chain and on-chain identities by providing users with a genuine digital identity. Similarly, Dentity users can now use the newly developed integration pathway to connect their identity credentials to their ENS domains.
