What are public portfolios and private portfolios?
Binance Futures Copy Trading lead traders can create up to one public portfolio and one private portfolio. Public portfolios can be copied by any copy traders, while private portfolios can only be copied by invited copy traders. Lead traders can invite copy traders to their private portfolios through invitation codes or links.
Benefits of private portfolios:
- Limited access: Only selected copy traders can access your private portfolios. You can invite them through invitation codes or links.
- Customizable profit sharing percentage: You can offer up to 30% profit sharing in a private portfolio. However, please note that the percentage cannot be changed after the portfolio is created.
How to create a private portfolio?
If you’re not a lead trader yet:
1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Futures] - [Copy Trading].
2. Click [Become a Lead Trader] and enter your portfolio details, including your nickname, a portfolio description, lead trading amount (at least 1,000 USDT), your preferred profit sharing ratio (up to 30%), and lock-up period (optional).
3. Choose [Private] as the portfolio type.
4. Read and agree to the service agreement and click [Confirm] to create your portfolio.
5. Your portfolio has been created. Click [Trade] to go to the trading interface.
If you’re already a lead trader:
1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Futures] - [Copy Trading]. Click [My Lead].
2. Go to the [Private Portfolio] tab and click [Start Leading].
3. Enter your portfolio details, including your nickname, a portfolio description, lead trading amount (at least 1,000 USDT), your preferred profit sharing ratio (up to 30%), and lock-up period (optional).
Choose [Private] as the portfolio type.
4. Read and agree to the service agreement and click [Confirm] to create your portfolio.
5. Your portfolio has been created. Click [Trade] to go to the trading interface.
How to invite copy traders to a private portfolio?
1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Trade] - [Copy Trading]. Click [My Lead].
2. Go to the [Private Portfolio] tab and choose a portfolio.
3. Click [Portfolio Invitations] - [Create Invitation].
4. Enter the maximum number of copy traders allowed for your private portfolio and click [Confirm]. An invitation code and link will be created.
5. Copy and share the invitation code or link to your community.
6. To stop accepting copy traders for your private portfolio, click [Delete] next to an invitation code or link and it won’t be available anymore.
