According to ChainCatcher news reported by Cryptonews, Layer 1 relational blockchain platform Chromia announced its priorities for the first quarter of 2025 on Wednesday, emphasizing the development of AI tools that support decentralized AI applications. According to Chromia's recent blog, the company's roadmap also includes the release of the Postchain Python client and Neural Interface v2.0, as well as the Mimir mainnet upgrade.

The vector database expansion will be released in the first quarter, enabling developers to store vector embeddings on Chromia's Layer 1 blockchain, facilitating applications such as large language models and AI agents. To enhance compatibility with AI-driven tools, Chromia plans to launch the Postchain Python client, allowing Python-based machine learning applications to integrate directly with Chromia's blockchain infrastructure.

Neural Interface v2.0 is also part of the vision, providing Chromia with extended capabilities to serve as a memory and recording system for AI agents, further supporting decentralized AI development. The Mimir mainnet upgrade plan for Chromia is scheduled for the end of the first quarter, expected to expand support for blockchain AI applications and improve the infrastructure of the platform's decentralized solutions.
