Game giant WeMade's blockchain department has been sued by 27 current and former employees for "unpaid" altcoin bonuses, seeking approximately $11 million in damages. The group claims the company had promised to pay them performance-based bonuses in cryptocurrency to reward work surrounding the WEMIX token.

Among these employees, some are still working at WeMade, consisting of members from the Wemade Tree subsidiary (the former blockchain department of WeMade).

The company developed WEMIX, which was first listed on cryptocurrency exchanges in 2020. WeMade subsequently merged with WeMade Tree in February 2022.
