Many people probably feel like they are picking treasures when they open DEX, as there are many popular projects with decent technical characteristics ranging from 10M to 300M. However, opening CEX reveals many old narrative projects ranging from 300M to 3B, leading to various mixed feelings. But in fact, CEX also has a logic for picking treasures along the trend, let me briefly discuss:
1) This wave of AI Agent narrative is rapidly evolving, from AI MEME -> single AI application -> AI Agent Launchpad -> AI Agent framework standards -> AI Agent chainization.
Pure MEME has always been about rapid hype logic; single AI can dominate for a short time due to its focus on experience; Launchpad platforms will definitely be consumed by Virtual due to first-mover advantages; frameworks and standards, backed by complex technical logic, have great imaginative space but are currently in a chaotic battle stage; only the chainization direction of AI Agents has a relatively 'traceable' path.
2) The logic of 'chainization' is definitely not when a public chain jumps out and says, I can support all AI Agents running on the chain. Such public chains do exist, for example,
@NEARProtocol, ICP, BNBChain all have such potential. But the problem is that, at this stage, AI Agents are still in the primary stage of MEME 'asset issuance', they can run AI Agents but cannot mobilize developers' enthusiasm, which is futile.
Therefore, the first wave of 'chainization' narratives must come from the ai16z ecosystem series. For instance, @focEliza.
3) Moreover, the core point of 'chainization' lies in better compatibility and service for large language models (LLM) to build the infrastructure for AI Agents, such as:
1. For AI Agents to autonomously generate private keys and manage assets, they must rely on TEE infrastructure. Therefore, projects that can provide mature TEE solutions are potential Alphas in the old narratives of CEX. TEE has been inconspicuous under the competitive pressure of traditional ZK, MPC, FHE, and other cryptographic algorithms, but suddenly became the core infrastructure of the new wave of AI narratives.
Consider some small market cap, low visibility, solid technology projects that have caught the new wind; they will definitely be potential treasures among many CEX targets (the performance logic of $PHA is precisely this. If you recognize the value of TEE infrastructure for AI Agents, the momentum of the TEE track will definitely continue).
2. To achieve layered optimization and matching of Memory for AI Agents, the goal must be to build Data Availability (DA) capability suitable for AI Agents. Traditional EVM public chains have extended the DA sector with many exciting narratives such as Blob plugins and third-party DA Wars.
The ability of DA specifically for AI Agents will undoubtedly be a focal point of discussion: including how DA blockchain space accurately records effective semantics in LLM context, how Character role-setting plugins interact in real-time with the DA blockchain, how data in multi-block spaces effectively matches multimodal interactions, and the cost issues of data storage in multi-block spaces (short-term, long-term, working memory, etc.) are all challenges that new DA Builders urgently need to overcome. This is also the reason why focEliza takes DA capability as the core breakthrough point.
3. For AI Agents to achieve verifiability in unimodal and trustworthy interactions in multimodal, they must rely on credible verification processing at the public chain level. In the TEE infrastructure's role in generating and applying private keys for large models, TEE alone cannot address the issue of single-point TEE hardware being physically compromised, nor the consensus verifiability of TEE executing programs.
These must rely on the inherently decentralized node verification consensus and smart contract collaboration environment of blockchain to achieve long-term goals.
In other words, a blockchain distributed system with strong consensus will make the intelligence of AI Agents 'reliable' and guaranteed. Therefore, following this logic, efforts are currently being made to provide AI Agents with zkVM underlying frameworks, ZK Oracle solutions, ZK Bridge cross-chain solutions, and 'chain abstraction' public chain application solutions, all of which are part of the current trend of 'chainization' narratives.
Above
When a series of solutions providing 'chainization' capabilities for AI Agents, such as TEE+DA+Oracle+zkVM+chain abstraction, mature, it is then that the decentralized distributed computing power, decentralized fine-tuning inference environment, decentralized data sources, decentralized IP communication, and incentives that AI Platforms need will truly become 'essential'.
To some extent, based on the efforts in the direction of AI Agent chainization, large AI platform projects such as io, Aethir, Vana, and SaharaAI will also have their place.
Clarify this logic: how to find the true essence in the chaotic era above DEX, and how to pick treasures in the silence of CEX. No need to elaborate, there will naturally be clear judgments.
