SpaceX successfully launched the first batch of Starlink satellites for 2025
On January 7, news emerged that the American space exploration company SpaceX successfully launched the first batch of Starlink internet satellites for 2025 at 4:43 AM Beijing time on January 7 from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This mission carried a total of 24 satellites, further expanding the coverage of Starlink's global satellite internet service.
The launch utilized the Falcon 9 rocket. About 8 minutes after liftoff, the rocket's first stage booster successfully landed on the autonomous recovery ship "Just Read the Instructions" in the Atlantic Ocean. This marked the 17th reuse of this booster.
Currently, Starlink has deployed over 6,850 active satellites, making it the largest commercial satellite constellation in the world. SpaceX plans to continue launching to further enhance the quality and coverage of global internet services. The satellites from this launch will be deployed into low Earth orbit within 65 minutes.
