Blockchain developer Kartik Patel launched Anon World, a decentralized anonymous social platform based on the Farcaster protocol, aimed at protecting user privacy and promoting community-driven discussions. The platform draws inspiration from Reddit's interface design, with a core architecture relying on ZK-based credentials, which are stored in the user's local browser, collecting no metadata or wallet information. Users must hold specific ERC20 tokens to post. Initially, the platform supports ERC20 tokens on the Base network. Anon World includes features similar to subreddits, allowing a community of users with shared credentials to interact. Credentials can be stored in local wallets or key-based profiles. Previously, Patel launched AnonCast, a decentralized social media application built on the Farcaster protocol. (The Block)
