Ethereum Weekly Ceases Operations Due to Withdrawal of Support from the Ethereum Foundation
According to ChainCatcher, Ethereum Weekly founder Evan Van Ness announced that the newsletter would cease operations due to communication issues with the leadership of the Ethereum Foundation.
For the remainder of 2024, WiE received only symbolic funding support, but the Ethereum Foundation chose to cut this trivial support, clearly stating that WiE would come to an immediate end.
Evan Van Ness stated that although WiE had an impact on developers, it failed to find a sustainable business model, with advertising and sponsorship being difficult to sell, leading to the termination of operations.
