Gold Finance reports that Bitcoin's "halving", the approval of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs in the US, and Trump's victory have driven the cryptocurrency market capitalization to surge. According to Coingecko data, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies rose from about $1.6 trillion at the beginning of the year to nearly $4 trillion at its peak. Among them, the price of Bitcoin has increased by 120.88% throughout the year, breaking through the $80,000, $90,000, and $100,000 barriers within a month after Trump's victory. After reaching a peak of $108,353, it has gradually declined and is now hovering around $93,700. Ethereum has increased by 45.6% over the year.
