This article has accumulated over 100,000 views: Twitter 47,000+ Binance Square 60,000
Among them, besides Pi being mentioned the most in the comments, the new followers brought by this tweet mostly come from friends in the Story community
This is a bit unexpected for me. Since it has come to this, I can't let you follow without reason. I'll simply explain Story in plain language, hoping it can help friends who are not familiar with it
1. Framework of Story
Story is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 centered around IP, with its on-chain defined IP assets represented as NFTs
These NFTs can link to existing issued NFT assets and can also be based on off-chain assets, such as artworks, to issue IP (NFT) assets
This aspect involves the concept of RWA
Corresponding to the IP assets is an IP account, which stores data details related to this IP and derived sectors, such as income based on this IP
For example, if I create an NFT series in Story, subsequent relevant royalty income can be managed in this account
2. Core: Rights on-chain
After reading the above, you might wonder: isn't this just an NFT management tool?
It is, but not entirely
The core is that Story has created an intellectual property license, and the underlying protocol is bound to this license
➠ This module executes on-chain through Story Protocol, bridging code, and legal aspects. By doing so, NFTs or some off-chain IPs do not just remain in the simple action of being on-chain, but also create a truly legal license and attach it to the IP assets
In addition to the license, Story also includes other modules, such as royalties, dispute resolution, and asset grouping management, etc.
I won't introduce them one by one, just knowing the core is enough
Thank you all for your attention~
