Animoca Brands co-founder's X account has been regained by platform X, verifying true ownership of the account

ChainCatcher message, Moca verse on platform X indicates that this morning, Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu's official X account @ysi, despite having two-factor authentication (2FA) set up, was still compromised through unauthorized access. The perpetrators used the account to post false information and links about a counterfeit SOLANA token. It has been confirmed that platform X has regained control of the @ysi account and is currently verifying the true ownership of the account.

Evidence suggests that this may be a case of identity theft, as the account had implemented standard security measures (such as two-factor authentication). Consideration and implementation of more robust security solutions are underway. The official accounts of Animoca Brands, Moca Network, or the MOCA Foundation have not been compromised, and strict security measures have been taken. As a precaution, all key members and official accounts have updated all authentication methods. No other vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities have been detected.
