From Liquidation to Comeback: A True Story of an Ordinary Person in the Crypto World

I once thought the crypto world was a shortcut to wealth, until that liquidation taught me a harsh lesson.

Three years ago, during a crazy bull market, I entered the crypto world with 100,000 yuan. At that time, everyone was shouting that BTC could rise to 1 million, even the air coin groups were filled with cries of 'the next wave will take off 10 times'. I didn't have time to analyze calmly, believing the nonsense of 'the more leverage, the more profit' and scattered my capital into several high-leverage contracts, thinking that making a fortune was just a matter of time.

What happened? Two weeks later, a big bearish candle came crashing down, and I was liquidated twice. At the moment my position was wiped out, only a few hundred yuan remained in my account. I felt cold all over and didn't dare to tell my family; I couldn't even take out money for groceries.

This was the first time in my life I felt suffocated by reality. But it was also from that moment that I began to truly study the crypto world.

I understood that speculation is always a game for a few. I started with spot trading; although the money I had was limited, the small profits I made time and again helped me regain my confidence. I began to study the fundamentals of mainstream coins and gradually understood the potential of DeFi, NFT, and GameFi sectors. At that time, I bought some newly started UNI and AAVE and even tried to earn rewards from liquidity mining. Although the initial returns were not high, little by little, my mindset became much more stable than before.

The later bull market completely turned my situation around. ETH soared, and my bottom position at 300 dollars increased tenfold; UNI also rose from a few dollars to forty or fifty dollars. I no longer rushed to sell off; instead, I gradually reduced my positions and took profits. By the end of this bull market, I not only recouped the losses from my liquidation but also pushed my savings to seven figures.

Looking back, the path in the crypto world is not easy. No one can become rich casually; more people are dragged into the abyss by 'greed' and 'ignorance'. But after experiencing the pain of liquidation, I clearly understood that rationality, learning, and patience are the real keys to my comeback.

From liquidation to comeback, I am not the only ordinary person who has gone through this, but I am willing to share my experience to tell more people: If you can let go of the speculative mindset, think seriously, and persistently work hard, the storms in the crypto world can sometimes be a prelude to opportunities!
