Uniswap will launch Layer-2 Unichain in early 2025, focusing on improving the performance of DeFi. Unichain is built on the OP Stack and has successfully tested on the Ethereum Sepolia network, with a transaction volume exceeding 50 million and an uptime of over 99%.

Unichain will join the Optimism Superchain ecosystem, strengthening Uniswap's strategic role. In November 2024, Uniswap Layer-2 transaction volume reached a record $38 billion.
