During the trading process, getting stuck, how to get unstuck?

Getting unstuck, as a term in the cryptocurrency world, refers to the price of a coin rising back to the buying price to sell the coin and recover funds. Learning to get stuck is to truly learn how to hunt; learning to get unstuck is to truly understand cryptocurrency trading.

Below are methods to get unstuck, generally divided into two types.

1. Active Unsticking Strategies

1. Cut Losses

If it is discovered that the purchase was a serious mistake, especially if bought at the peak of a previous surge, one must have the determination to make a clean break and cut losses in a timely manner to protect capital safety. There are many opportunities in the cryptocurrency market; as long as capital does not suffer major losses, it can always be earned back.

2. Swap Coins

If the coin held is stuck and in a weak position, with further downside potential, if one accurately judges that another coin has greater upward potential and stronger momentum, one can decisively swap stocks to use profits from the new coin to offset losses from the old coin.

3. Short Selling

When it is confirmed that one is deeply stuck and unable to cut losses, and there is further downside potential in the broader market or a particular coin, one can adopt a short selling strategy, first selling the stuck coin and waiting to buy it back at a lower price, effectively reducing costs.

2. Passive Unsticking Strategies

1. Averaging Down

If the buying price is not high or one is firmly optimistic about the future market, the averaging down technique can be chosen. However, ordinary investors can usually only withstand one or two rounds of averaging down, so the timing for averaging down is crucial.

2. Lying Flat

When fully invested and deeply stuck, unable to cut losses and lacking the strength to add more positions, one can only wait passively. As long as it is one's own money, not borrowed or leveraged, there is patience to wait. One must not act emotionally, recklessly adding to positions, or cutting losses blindly.
