According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on December 21, Unichain announced the phased roadmap for the mainnet. The roadmap is divided into three phases:
The first phase is the current ongoing testnet phase, with infrastructure providers actively testing;
The second phase is the mainnet launch, scheduled to enable permissionless fault-proof features starting January 6, 2025, and will be fully open after validation, at which point users can directly bridge funds, with the Rollup-Boost feature also going live shortly thereafter;
The third phase will launch the experimental testnet, introducing Flashblocks technology to shorten block generation time to 250 milliseconds, and will launch the Unichain validation network for community participation in node testing.
The team stated that all new features will only be deployed to the mainnet for production use after being fully validated on the experimental testnet and Sepolia testnet.
