Following the Web3 version of 'Twitter', Web3 versions of 'Ctrip', 'Little Red Book', and other crypto-based life service applications have also begun to attract market attention.

Last week, Zhao Changpeng revealed on platform X that after investing in the crypto travel platform Travala, its token rose by 300% within an hour.

In addition, the public chain Kaia, created by communication giants LINE and Kakao, also announced last week the first batch of Mini Dapps on LINE, which will be launched in January 2025, among which the gamified social metadata platform Yuliverse successfully made the selection.

Yuliverse plans to launch a social Mini Dapp YuliGo, similar to the Web3 version of 'Little Red Book', on the LINE Mini Dapp ecosystem and Kaia blockchain, allowing users to 'Social to Earn' based on location, i.e., earning token rewards while sharing real-time lifestyle activities such as eating, drinking, and having fun.

According to Yuliverse, Yuliverse is the first TGE project launched on Kaia. Community users who missed Travala can also pay attention to Yuliverse's upcoming developments.

Gaming gold + social empowerment, Yuliverse builds a gamified life metadata platform.

Yuliverse is the first gamified life metadata platform, uniquely based on LBS (Location-Based Services) technology, integrating 'gaming gold' and 'social content creation' to create a sustainable ecosystem with real application scenarios.

In terms of gaming, Yuliverse has developed the Web3 LBS game Yuliverse App, which can be seen as the Web3 version of 'Pokemon Go', combining adventure and social elements, encouraging players to move in the real world and build social relationships, earning in-game native tokens $ARG and $ART by completing tasks and challenges.

Yuliverse has already collaborated with over 70 offline merchants to provide incentives for players in Yuliverse games. According to Yuliverse, players have achieved over 5,000 redemptions at offline physical locations. This proves the great feasibility of using location-based lightweight gamified tasks to increase revenue and reduce merchants' customer acquisition costs.

Since its launch in the first quarter of 2023, the game has had over 565,000 users, with a peak concurrent user count of 155,000.

In terms of social aspects, Yuliverse has developed a LBS-based social sharing platform YuliGO, similar to the Web3 version of 'Little Red Book', allowing users to post and earn money while having an AI assistant to lower operational thresholds. YuliGO has been online on Telegram since September 2024, currently with over 2.4 million total communication users.

Yuliverse mentions that its ecosystem's gamers face some redemption thresholds in offline merchants due to unfamiliarity with these merchants, while YuliGO's social sharing can provide content recommendations for ecosystem users, allowing them to have a better gaming experience.

The combination of Game and Social can also effectively solve the sustainability dilemmas faced by both GameFi and SocialFi.

Currently, the 'mining and selling' model of GameFi can quickly attract a large number of gold-seeking users, but its tokens often struggle to capture valuable data, and users ultimately only sell the tokens. Therefore, after the initial incentives end, GameFi can easily fall into a death spiral.

In contrast, SocialFi easily captures valuable data; the world's most well-known internet companies fundamentally rely on users' social networks and social data to gain leading positions.

However, most Web3 users are still speculative trading users; trying Web3 social is often for the sake of transactional 'fake' social interactions, with very few truly valuable content creators, making it difficult to create a retention plan for token incentives that generates more valuable content.

Yuliverse indicates that among 100 Web3 social users, there may only be 3 capable of creating content. Token incentives, whether broadly applied to these 100 users or focusing on the 3 true content creators, will lead to ordinary users and content creators having no motivation to retain, making it difficult for tokens to capture value.

However, 'gaming gold + social empowerment' can solve the aforementioned dilemmas of GameFi and SocialFi. Yuliverse's solution is to allow 97% of ordinary users to play simple games for gold, with the generated tokens empowering the social content platform, while 3% of true content creators earn token incentives through content output, thereby retaining different types of users and forming a sustainable ecological network.

Yuliverse is committed to establishing a healthy token value accumulation and circulation through location technology services and SocialFi to give game tokens data value. Additionally, it supports content creators and ordinary users through a fair distribution mechanism. Yuliverse promotes a balanced and sustainable ecosystem, and through a token buyback mechanism, incentivizes user retention while creating deflationary pressure on token supply.

Capture the LINE + Kaia ecosystem dividend, reaching a large real user base.

In addition to bringing loyal users to Yuliverse through the unique model of 'gaming gold + social empowerment', Yuliverse also collaborates with leading industry platforms such as BNB Chain, OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, and Gate.io to expand its influence.

In terms of airdrop incentives, Yuliverse conducted an airdrop activity of over 100 million tokens after the TGE in July this year. More than $50,000 worth of prizes were distributed in Telegram and Discord activities.

Yuliverse has built a large-scale and active community, with nearly a million users on the official Twitter account and over 270,000 users on Discord. It has raised a total of $6 million in funding.

In the upcoming year of 2025, Yuliverse will continue to expand its ecosystem. According to the roadmap, a key development focus for 2025 will be in the LINE + Kaia ecosystem, continuing to expand the gamified social network and reaching a larger user base. In addition to Web3 users, Yuliverse can also expand to a larger base of Web2 users.

Compared to Telegram, LINE is more similar to WeChat, not only having a large social network but also a life service matrix built on social users. LINE currently has nearly 200 million users.

Kaia is the L1 blockchain launched by LINE and Kakao. From 800 applying teams, 30 DApps were finally selected for the Mini DApps and DApp Portal in cooperation with LINE, becoming the first batch of officially launched mini-programs on LINE Messenger. Yuliverse, as one of the first selected projects, will receive strong traffic and other support from LINE and Kaia.

According to Yuliverse, the social platform YuliGo under Yuliverse launched on LINE + Kaia is not only a sharing platform similar to 'Little Red Book' but also a mixed asset (token + NFT) issuance platform in the Pump.fun model.

Yuliverse's platform token $ART adopts the POP404 (Proof of Participation 404) standard, allowing each post (content + media) to be traded as a token in the secondary market. Content creators can earn ART rewards by posting on the platform, and each post can also be simply 'double-tapped' to become an NFT.

To lower operational thresholds, Yuliverse is developing an AI agent to help users manage posted content and token transactions using an open-source robot agent framework, allowing users to participate more smoothly and with lower barriers in the secondary market of YuliGO on Kaia.

In expanding users' social networks, Yuliverse collaborates with large offline merchants, online consumption data network platforms, and loyalty point platforms to build a more comprehensive incentive system for users. Meanwhile, Yuliverse also helps Web2 companies reduce customer acquisition costs, empowering the entire LINE ecosystem.

Yuliverse stated that under the LINE + Kaia ecological dividend, it is expected to bring over 3 million social users by 2025.
