PANews reported on December 19, according to Bitcoin.com, that a study by NFT Evening showed that after Bitcoin broke the $100,000 mark, it has created 14,211 new millionaires and 4 new billionaires. The report explains that Bitcoin investors became millionaires 22 times faster than stock investors, further proving Bitcoin's powerful ability to create wealth.
To illustrate this, the study compared the return on investment of $4,000 each in Bitcoin and traditional company stocks in 2010. After approximately 3,775 days (or 10.3 years), Bitcoin investors first achieved the milestone of $1 million. In contrast, investors who put the same amount into blue-chip stocks saw their portfolios grow to only $45,000.
Meanwhile, the research found that investors who invested $30,500 in Bitcoin in early 2011 became billionaires after approximately 4,645 days (or 12.7 years), which corresponds to a 32,787 times return on investment. As for the return on investment for stocks, the report noted: In contrast, investors who invested the same amount in blue-chip stocks during the same period saw their portfolios grow to only $950,000. This means that when Bitcoin investors became billionaires, stock investors had just reached the milestone of $1 million.
