According to Deep Tide TechFlow, Sui Bridge has now integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), allowing users to transfer native USDC stablecoins between Sui and eight other blockchains. This integration enhances the functionality of Sui Bridge, making USDC transfers more efficient.

CCTP supports secure one-to-one USDC transfers between Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Noble, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS, and Solana, with added support for Sui. Users transferring USDC across chains only need to pay transaction fees on the source and target chains. CCTP completes transfers by destroying USDC on the original chain and minting new USDC on the target chain. Since the value of USDC is pegged to the US dollar, no currency exchange is needed.

According to reports, Sui Bridge went live in September this year and is a native cross-chain bridge on Sui, currently supporting transfers between SUI and ETH. By integrating CCTP into Sui Bridge, users can complete asset transfers on a single platform, further enhancing interoperability between chains.
