PANews reported on December 17 that, according to the official blog, the liquid staking protocol Lido announced the launch of a new program called 'Community Staking Tribe' as part of the Lido community 'Lifeguard' initiative, aimed at transforming employees and contributors of Web3 organizations (whether companies or DAOs) into independent Ethereum stakers. This will be achieved by authorizing them to use the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM) to operate validation nodes. The cross-chain liquid staking protocol and Lido alliance member Drop will be the first organization to participate in this program, while Dappnode will serve as the staking hardware provider.
Through this program, participating Web3 organizations need to nominate contributors, provide staking hardware, enhance the skills of employees/contributors, and leverage joint marketing opportunities. Participant benefits include increased community recognition, enhanced participant skills, and potential enhanced staking rewards from the Lido Community Staking Module (CSM).
