Deep Tide TechFlow News, on December 17, according to Blockworks, crypto investment firm Bitwise released its 2025 market outlook report, predicting that the stock price of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN) will significantly rise from the current $324 to $700, with a market capitalization expected to surpass Charles Schwab, becoming the world's largest brokerage. Bitwise had previously accurately predicted that MicroStrategy (MSTR) would be included in the Nasdaq 100 index and expects Coinbase to enter the S&P 500 index next year. CoinShares predicts that as more companies hold Bitcoin, Bitcoin yield strategies will become the new norm in corporate finance.
In addition, Bitwise predicts that the U.S. Department of Labor will relax restrictions on investing in cryptocurrencies through 401(k) pension plans in 2025. Multiple institutions are optimistic about the prospects of the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) market, expecting the scale to exceed $50 billion, with only the U.S. Treasury token fund BUIDL supported by BlackRock potentially reaching $50 billion in size.
