The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in December is 96%
According to CME's "Fed Watch": the probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining the current interest rate until December is 4.0%, and the cumulative probability of a 25 basis points cut is 96%. The probability of maintaining the current interest rate until January next year is 3.2%, with a cumulative probability of a 25 basis points cut at 78.3%, and a cumulative probability of a 50 basis points cut at 18.5%.
So this month's interest rate cut is a done deal; we just need to work hard and leave the rest to fate.
