The first community proposal of the Trump crypto project WLFI has been approved. This proposal aims to deploy a lending instance based on Aave v3 for the WLFI protocol. This new lending instance will support the lending of assets such as ETH, WBTC, USDC, and USDT, and will be managed through Aave's risk management system. The instance will be managed by external risk managers and will be built on the existing Aave v3 infrastructure, ultimately launching on the Ethereum mainnet. AaveDAO will receive 20% of the protocol fee revenue from this instance and approximately 7% of WLFI tokens, which will be used for participation in future governance, liquidity mining, and decentralized advancement. This initiative aims to provide a seamless experience for users new to DeFi, promote the adoption of over-collateralized lending, and enhance Aave's leadership position in the digital asset lending market.
