Golden Finance reports that, according to Fox News, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman will join the list of American technology giants donating to the inauguration fund of elected President Trump. Altman said in a written statement, "Trump will lead our country into the era of artificial intelligence, and I am eager to support his efforts to ensure that America remains at the forefront." It is reported that Altman plans to donate $1 million to the presidential inauguration committee in his personal capacity, rather than through OpenAI directly. Previously, Zuckerberg and Bezos both announced donations of $1 million to the presidential inauguration fund, reportedly to ease relations with the incoming president.
