Golden Finance reports that court documents submitted on December 12 local time show that Alexander Smirnov, an FBI informant previously accused of fabricating allegations of bribery against U.S. President Joseph Biden and his son Hunter Biden, has agreed to plead guilty. It is understood that Smirnov has reached a plea agreement with Special Counsel David Weiss. Under the agreement, both parties will recommend a sentence of at least 48 months and no more than 72 months in prison.
