Bitcoin briefly broke the $100,000 barrier last night before entering a downward fluctuation. BTC first dropped sharply from a high of $100,421 at 11 PM last night to around $98,000, and after several hours of fluctuation, it once plunged to $94,150 at 5 AM today, with a maximum decline of 6.25%.

As of now, the price has rebounded to $97,100, with a decline of 2.96% in the last 24 hours.

Ethereum once approached $3,500.

Ethereum also followed this downward trend, briefly plunging to $3,509, and has now rebounded to $3,709, with a 7.4% decline in the last 24 hours.

Nearly $1.7 billion was liquidated in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, according to Coinglass data, in the past 24 hours, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market reached $1.71 billion, with long positions liquidated at $1.55 billion being the majority, and short positions liquidated at $163 million, affecting over 567,000 people.

The $1.7 billion liquidation amount is also the second highest in the history of the cryptocurrency market, second only to September 7, 2021.
