Solana developers proposed to raise the block computation limit of the network from 48 million units to 50 million units to handle more transactions and improve network efficiency.
According to the details shared through the Solana improvement document on GitHub, this incremental increase aims to improve transaction processing without affecting network performance. Anza software developer and author of the proposal Andrew Fitzgerald mentioned that the idea is still in draft stage. This indicates that further refinements may take place before final approval.
