IoTeX and the Japanese IoT platform Jasmy have reached a strategic partnership, aimed at promoting the popularization and development of DePIN and the Internet of Things in East Asia. IoTeX officials stated that Japan has advantages in the research, production, and market application of smart devices, while the founding team of Jasmy includes former Sony executives, focusing on the connection between physical devices and the cryptocurrency world, which highly aligns with IoTeX's strategic direction in the fields of IoT and DePIN. With the launch of the IoTeX 2.0 DePIN modular upgrade, IoTeX becomes the only fully chain-compatible DePIN infrastructure, providing strong support for the construction of various DePIN projects. The upgrade of IoTeX 2.0 aims to create a high-speed channel that allows DePIN projects to reduce construction thresholds and increase development speed, accelerating the promotion of large-scale adoption of DePIN. Based on the nine core modules required for DePIN development, IoTeX 2.0 has constructed DePIN infrastructure modules (DePIN Infrastructure Modules, DIMs) including a unified trusted layer, identity recognition, off-chain computing, etc., through endogenous research and external cooperation. This marks the continuous expansion of IoTeX's influence in the blockchain field, and its ecosystem is undergoing significant transformation, especially in the area of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).
