American blockchain payment company Ripple Labs has intensified its testing of the stablecoin RLUSD. Data from the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker shows that Ripple is conducting two tests simultaneously, focusing on minting and transferring on the XRP Ledger protocol, marking the first publicly disclosed RLUSD test of the month so far.
In recent months, Ripple Labs has been conducting RLUSD tests in hopes of joining the rapidly growing stablecoin ecosystem. The latest minted XRP Ledger Index stands at 146, containing 9,999,700 RLUSD coins.
According to previous news, Fox Business reports that the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) is about to approve a new stablecoin, RLUSD, issued by the cross-border payment company Ripple. Insiders indicate that the NYDFS has informed Ripple that it will approve the product, which the company plans to launch on December 4.
