BlockBeats news, on December 3, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on X: 'We have informed all law firms we work with that if they hire anyone who has committed atrocities against the crypto industry in the (soon-to-be former) government, we will no longer be their client.'
In my opinion, attempting to illegally stifle an industry while refusing to publish clear rules is an immoral act. If you are a senior official there, you cannot say you are just following orders. They can choose to leave the SEC, and many well-intentioned people have chosen to leave. This is not a normal SEC term.
They can work in other fields (I don't believe in permanently canceling people), but as an industry, we should not be putting money into their pockets after suffering devastation. Let your law firm know that hiring these people means losing you as a client.
