BlockBeats news, on December 3rd, according to Spot On Chain monitoring, the U.S. government transferred 19,800 BTC (192 million USD) 9 hours ago, of which 10,000 BTC (96.29 million USD) was sent to Coinbase.
As of 2024, the U.S. government has transferred a total of 25,999 BTC (249 million USD) to Coinbase. However, these transfers appear to be custodial in nature rather than sales.
Currently, the U.S. government holds approximately 183,850 BTC (1.757 billion USD) at various known addresses.
