Gold Finance reported that, according to the Financial Times, OpenAI is discussing plans to introduce advertising to its artificial intelligence products, as the ChatGPT developer seeks new sources of revenue. OpenAI's Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar stated in an interview with the Financial Times that the $150 billion valued AI startup is considering an advertising model and added that they plan to be cautious about when and where to implement ads. The San Francisco-based company secured $6.6 billion in new funding in October, and according to multiple informed sources and an analysis of LinkedIn accounts by the Financial Times, OpenAI is recruiting advertising talent from large tech companies like Meta and Google.
