The true meaning of honest people is actually having no aggressiveness, while bad people / scumbags have aggressiveness.
People can be divided along two dimensions: aggressiveness and ability (whether strong or not), approximately:
Strong attack, strong ability (either a leader or a criminal 😂), representative character: Wang Baoqiang in (Destined by Heaven)
Strong attack, weak ability, representative character: Jiang Wu in (Destined by Heaven)
Strong ability, weak attack: Most mid-level and senior management in companies
Weak ability, weak attack: honest people, ordinary individuals.
So honest people are the most numerous in this society and are the foundation.
