Two presidential candidates may struggle to address the 2025 tax crisis. U.S. investors are taking proactive measures.
On November 3, the Wall Street Journal reported that American taxpayers are not waiting for the election results to change their investment and profit strategies; they believe both presidential candidates could lead to higher tax rates. In 2017, Donald Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which reduced taxes for millions. Now, the new president and Congress are faced with the issue of many tax cuts expiring at the end of 2025. According to Erica York, research director at the Tax Foundation, if a new agreement is not reached by then, nearly two-thirds of taxpayers will face tax increases. If investors are convinced that tax rates will rise, one possible action they may take is to sell off stocks. Selling now would lock in capital gains at the current top tax rate of 20%. #你问我答 #美国大选后行情预测 #美国大选后涨或跌? #比特币矿工收入飙升 #11月市场预测
