According to Odaily Planet Daily, last week SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago and promised to invest $100 billion in the United States over the next four years. Trump joked that SoftBank might double its target to $200 billion, to which Son responded that he would work hard to achieve it.

Insiders revealed that Masayoshi Son plans to create the next NVIDIA through chip investments, aiming to launch the first batch of marketable artificial intelligence chips by 2026, with prototype chips expected as early as next summer.

Masayoshi Son also promised to create 100,000 jobs focused on artificial intelligence and related infrastructure, with funding to be deployed before the end of Trump's term.
