According to PANews, a memorandum submitted on December 11 has postponed the pre-trial hearing for the crypto mixing service Samourai Wallet from December 17 to March 12, 2025, with the trial date set for November 3, 2025.
Since the pre-trial meeting on September 17, 2024, the U.S. government has submitted multiple batches of evidence and plans to submit the fifth batch within seven days. The FBI is reviewing 45 devices seized from the developers, with the remaining data expected to be released in early 2025.
So far, 17 TB of data has been shared. The defense for Samourai Wallet compared the evidence materials to '75% of the Library of Congress's collection,' with the thickness of the paper equivalent to traveling to the moon and back 22 times.
