SingularityNET is a decentralized AI platform and marketplace, aiming to build a "protocol for connecting AI and machine learning tools, as well as forming effective applications".
In May 2021, Phase II of SingularityNET began. The AGI token was replaced by AGIX and the project launched on Cardano, with measures like building layer 2 solutions to encourage mass adoption.
AGIX is the native token of the project. The current use cases for AGIX include:
AI services: AGIX can be used to purchase AI services provided on the marketplace.
Governance: AGIX token holders can vote and participate in governance of the network.
Staking: Holders can stake AGIX over a 30 day staking period sessions to earn rewards in return for participating in network consensus
The project consists of the following major components working in conjunction:
AI Marketplace: The AI marketplace provides a number of AI-powered services that users can purchase.
AI Publisher: A portal that allows AI developers to publish and monetize their products on the platform.
Developer Portal: A collection of developer tools and SDKs to help developers build in the SingularityNet ecosystem.
As of July 5th, 2022, the total token supply of AGIX token is 1,165,866,397 and the max supply is 2,000,000,000. The current circulating supply is 1,070,000,000 (54% of the max token supply).
