SOMESING is a blockchain-based mobile karaoke application. SOMESING runs on the Klaytn network and is powered by the $SSX token. Users are reportedly rewarded for their content, as content-backed tokens are automatically distributed by a smart contract on the blockchain. 

SOMESING was launched in 2018 with a reported attempt to address issues such as profit sharing for creators on the platform, low quality of karaoke apps, barriers to paid services, and the opaqueness of copyright and music source providers. At launch, SOMESING had over 1.2 million downloads, 600,000 registered users, and over 13 million transactions since migrating to the Klaytn network. It has also partnered with TikTok and Ditto Music in preparation for global business expansion. 

Users on the SOMESING ecosystem can create and share a variety of music-related content through a mobile device-based social KTV platform, accumulate tokens in the form of sponsorships, and gifts, receive rewards, and in doing so, conduct global service operations.
