About Linear Finance (LINA)
Linear Finance is a cross-chain compatible DeFi ecosystem that supports liquid asset creation and trading. These synthetic assets mimic the value of real-world assets like oil, gold, cryptocurrencies, and commodities without needing to buy the actual assets.
Linear Finance operates through its suite of products which include Linear Buildr, Exchange, Swap, and Vault. Linear Buildr allows users to stake LINA tokens and use it as a collateral to mint the platform’s stablecoin, ℓUSD. This asset then can be used to purchase synthetic assets through the Linear Exchange which is said to offer fair market value with zero slippage. Linear Vault is a purported yield-generation dApp where users can earn passive income by staking ℓUSD or other LP tokens, while the protocol’s Swap functionality facilitates cross-chain swaps.
The technology behind Linear Finance leverages smart contracts, oracles, and cross-chain integration. While using Ethereum for its foundational infrastructure, it also utilizes BNB Chain to lower transaction costs and increase execution speed.
The platform’s native token LINA, an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum network, is integral to the Linear Finance ecosystem, providing governance, collateral, staking rewards, liquidity mining incentives, and participation rewards. The price of LINA can be tracked in real-time on Binance.
