still trying to wrap my head around the "bootstrapping" value proposition of @eigenlayer

the example here is related to oracles:

1) a seed-stage oracle network vs.

2) @chainlink

looking at this from a buyer's POV:

why would the seed-stage oracle network become better than Chainlink in practice with the "signaling" stake?

the stake does NOT give the seed-stage startup a multi-year track record, engineers, operational excellence, brand, distribution, etc. that's needed to compete with an incumbent?

that is, the "stake" is really not the bottleneck here, but the quality of the product?
