This is just for Japanese iPhone users? About a month ago JASMY had around 55,000 holders, I believe. The current population of Japan in 2024 is 122,631,432. 65.88% of cell phone users in Japan are said to be apple. 85.6% of the Japanese population is said to have a cell phone. 104,972,505 would be 85.6% of Japans population. Then 65.88% of that would be 69,155,886. If there is a 5 year span until all of apples users have a new cell phone, with a migration likely within a 3 year time frame for the majority of these users, that would be a more then 1000x increase potential in holders, from these individual accounts? Account for real estate of Japans residential property market, a 24 trillion dollar said value, being tokenized with others. I
have read as low as 5 dollars with a world average though Japans salary average I imagine is far higher then the world average which may translate to data value. If it is 5 dollars average value for the 69 million new accounts that would be 345 million in liquidity value. However if the average data value of these new users would be 50 dollars, that would add in 3.4 billion to chain liquidity value. Maybe their data is worth more or less, I am not sure the variables to equate. I would also point out that the more someone is worth, the more their data value may be. They may also be more then likely to get a new phone faster then the majority of people, especially if it equates security.
This may not correlate though this 2016 paper thinks the average smart phone users data is 14000.
I do not think this is the case though the math says, if it was, that would be 14000 x 69 million = 966,000,000,000 or almost a trillion dollars. JASMY with a trillion dollar market cap would be 20usd per JASMY, on this figure alone. .03 to 20 is about 666 times in increase.
I would mention that apple charges for apps and these alone have who knows how much value to the average user. I would imagine at least 5$.
