That's an important metric because it represents the frequency of updates, improvements and contributions on coding. So basically, higher commits result in faster development and innovation! Cardano, from the other side, has higher market cap ($15.4 billion vs $7.3 billion). This still indicates investor's confidence in this project. In my opinion, NEAR is way more solid and ADA is way too overvalued. Cardano urges a developer-friendly infrastructure that could attract more developers/users and more utility cases.

1 September! Yes, Russia has recently announced a plan to ban cryptos and their general circulation. That's a move to promote the dominance of their ruble and thus tight the control on them. There may be some exceptions for mining and those regarding military purposes. In my opinion, that's a move that put Russia in a regression path. In fact, by limiting access to digital assets, Russia could miss out on opportunities for economic growth and technological advancement. Some companies may decide to relocate in other countries. Russia will then lose talented blockchain developers and experts. I firmly believe that slowing down innovation can have negative consequences in term of economic growth and thus this crypto ban plan might put Russia in a "chaser" position in the future!

FORBES UNMASKS OVERVALUED BLOCKCHAINS! 🚨 Do We Agree? 🤔

Forbes has recently published a report that contains those blockchain without a clear purpose to exist. So basically those tokens with high valuations but limited utility. Forbes outlines the fact that they only increased on value because Bitcoin raised. Specifically this Forbes journalist (JJ) pointed his finger to: Ripple (XRP), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Tezos ($XTZ ), Algorand ($ALGO ), Monero (XMR) and Cardano ($ADA ). JJ came up with an example saying that XRP isn't big deal for banks anymore and thus is just traded for speculation. Also adding that Tezos, Algorand and Monero have low real-world action (utility) and struggling to get more users and developers.

Personally I disagree with Forbes. First of all it's not correct to compare apples with pears. Monero is a privacy coin and consequently its utility its way different from the others. Also, banks are only now approaching cryptocurrencies due to the introduction of regulatory guidelines. So saying that XRP has failed with banks is too early. At least, struggling on hiring developers depends on the amount of users that are on the platform. Why a blockchain should keep hiring developers since its user base doesn't increase?

That could differ according to factors like: regulatory requirements, risk management practices and type of the assets. According to this range of percentage, crypto.com lacks on liquidity and thus investors could opt for another one. Traders also could opt for another one; so they will be able to execute their trades efficiently with more liquidity and consequently avoid significant price slippage.

Note that liquidity has been calculated considering all the stablecoins in their portfolios!

In the last 90 days, 9 altcoins didn't perform well compared to Bitcoin. These are: Cardano, Polygon Matic, Optimism, Injective, Monero, Celestia, Lido and Arbitrum. Note that the image reports only the top 50 altcoins and it shows in percentage their performances against BTC. The reasons could be several. For example, when the Bitcoin dominance is too high, investors tend to favor BTC over certain altcoins. Also when new competitors with better value proposition appear, some liquidity may flow to them. (e.g. $OP Vs $MATIC ). Not least, regulatory concerns. Let's take Monero (XMR); Monero has underperformed due the de-list of several exchanges. Authorities didn't like its privacy technology and thus they put pressure on several exchanges.

Keep always in mind that the underperformance of altcoins can be influenced by a combination of market dynamics, investor sentiment and specific factors. As a consequence, I really recommend to go over 1 by 1 and analyzing them in depth!
