Security and liquidity have always been the top priority for us. Given the instability in the LRT space over the last 12 hours, we want to reassure everyone that the restaking and LRT space are sound. We’ve received many inbound questions from our users and want to share some things that have been done to help ensure security of the protocol. The http://ether.fi labs team is ready and available should you have any questions. We will be having a spaces at 7pm UTC to address all questions. https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1YqGoDggBOAJv 🧵👇 Liquidity: ✅ Withdrawals have been enabled since Day 1, users can always redeem eETH (or weETH) for ETH on http://ether.fi 1:1. ✅ eETH peg has always stayed within a few basis points and has gone through some great stress tests. After the TGE there were over $200m in withdrawals that were processed and the peg didn’t budge. http://ether.fi has the deepest on chain liquidity of any LRT - https://dune.com/Henrystats/liquidity-restaking-protocols ✅ weETH is listed on a variety of different Centralized Exchanges to allow users to buy and redeem. ✅ L2s: Admittedly L2 integrations were not deployed as quickly as users had hoped, but that was because we wanted to ensure things were done the right way, prioritizing user safety. We have worked with @LayerZero_Labs to enable native minting on L2s. Users will be able to mint weETH for no cost on all major L2s, currently available on Mode and Blast. Additionally, any L2 can be used for restaking and all weETH can be transferred seamlessly between chains through the OFT standard. The integration with LayerZero allows us to leverage native bridges rather than expensive third-party bridges, which is common amongst all other LRT L2 integrations currently. There is no other solution as safe and cost efficient that is currently on the market. Security: 🔒 We recently announced that we are working with @CertoraInc on a formal verification and audit of our smart contracts. This is the highest level of security one can take on their smart contracts. 🔒 7 audits performed on the http://ether.fi code from 5 different providers. We believe it’s imperative to get more eyeballs on our protocol. 🔒 Bug bounties are live with @immunefi and run frequently.
