I- A proof-of-work demonstrates the use of a specific resource (i.e. timecard of hours spent at work) ✍🏻
II- Replicates Gold Miners model that where paid by weight for the gold obtained (instead of mining gold computers must solve math problems) 🧮
That’s why it’s called “mining” 😜
III- So this process encourage rational miners to solve these problems to obtain certain Bitcoins as reward 🪙
