According to PANews, the total assets of U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have surpassed the $10 trillion mark for the first time this week, driven by both capital inflows and market gains. So far this year, investors have poured $691 billion into ETFs, with U.S. stock indices continually reaching new record highs. Amrita Nandakumar, President of Vident Asset Management, described the growth of ETFs as 'incredible,' noting that it took only 14 years for the ETF ecosystem to grow from $1 trillion to $10 trillion. She highlighted that ETFs now cover almost all types of assets and investment strategies, which were previously accessible only to the world's most sophisticated institutional investors. Jillian DelSignore, Head of Global Investor Distribution Strategy at Nasdaq Global Index Group, stated that ETFs are becoming the preferred tool for investors. She added that as the private market evolves and result-oriented strategies continue to develop, new investment opportunities will emerge.
