According to Foresight News, Holograph, a full-chain NFT protocol, has announced the completion of its first HLG token burn. A total of 53,249,975 tokens were destroyed, leaving 946,750,025 HLG tokens still to be burned. In addition, there are approximately 800 million HLG tokens currently in circulation. After extensive discussions with the community, a plan to restore the total supply of HLG to 10 billion has been initiated.
In previous news from Foresight News, Holograph released an update on a vulnerability exploit. A former contractor exploited a vulnerability to mint an additional 1 billion HLG tokens on Mantle, leading to a temporary protocol lockdown. The malicious actor's accounts have been frozen on multiple exchanges, and at least 200 million of the extra 1 billion HLG tokens have been frozen.
