According to Odaily, zkSync has announced that its Prover network is now open to all participants in the ecosystem. The introduction of new participants is expected to enhance the scalability and strength of the zkSync Era Prover network, eliminating dependence on any entity to maintain the key mechanism responsible for computing proofs to verify transactions.
ZkSync has also released milestone information for the Prover network. The first stage, known as 'Test Integration', began in the early third quarter of 2024. This was followed by the 'Proof Verification' stage in the mid to late third quarter of 2024. The 'Real-Time Proof Verification' stage was the third phase, which took place at the end of the third quarter of 2024. The fourth stage, 'On-Site Test Verification', began in the early fourth quarter of 2024. The final stage, 'Real-Time Verification', took place in the fourth quarter of 2024.
